- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line your 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add in the egg, vanilla extract, brewed coffee, and cocoa powder. Mix until creamy.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Dollop half of the cheesecake mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer, followed by the remaining cheesecake mixture.
- Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
