Bourbon Peach Pecan Dip

  • Author: Ananya Patel
  • Total Time: 15 minutes (plus optional 30 minutes chilling)
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, sweet, and slightly boozy Southern dip featuring ripe peaches, toasted pecans, and a hint of bourbon. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or cozy nights in, this easy recipe comes together in minutes and is always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 medium fresh peaches, peeled and diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt (optional, for lighter/tangier version)
  • Crushed graham crackers (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the peaches. If using frozen, thaw and drain thoroughly. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Chop and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Gently fold in diced peaches and bourbon. Mix just until combined; do not overmix.
  5. Add cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Reserve a few pecans for topping, then fold the rest into the dip.
  7. Transfer dip to a serving dish. Top with reserved pecans and optional crushed graham crackers. Drizzle with honey if desired.
  8. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor, or serve immediately.

Notes

For best texture, use room temperature cream cheese and gently fold in peaches to avoid a runny dip. Toasting pecans enhances flavor. Make ahead and chill for deeper flavor. Easily adapted for dairy-free or non-alcoholic versions. Serve with sturdy crackers, pretzel chips, or sliced apples.
