Description

This delightful cinnamon sugar pumpkin monkey bread is the epitome of comfort food, perfect for crisp autumn mornings or cozy family gatherings. It’s easy to make and sure to impress everyone with its gooey, sugary goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Open the biscuit dough cans and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  4. In another bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Dip each quartered biscuit piece into melted butter, then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  5. Start layering the coated biscuit pieces into your prepared bundt pan, adding any leftover cinnamon sugar between layers for extra flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  7. Let the monkey bread cool for about 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to add nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruits for added texture and flavor.
