Description
This refreshing peach lemonade sparkler combines the juicy sweetness of ripe peaches with the tartness of fresh lemons and a fizzy finish, making it the perfect summer drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste, or use honey or agave syrup)
- 4 cups water (divided into 2 cups for lemonade and 2 cups for peach puree)
- 2 cups club soda or sparkling water
- Ice (for serving)
- Fresh mint (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the Peach Puree: In your blender, combine the sliced peaches and 2 cups of water. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove any pulp. Set aside.
- Juice the Lemons: Squeeze the lemons to extract 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. You can use a juicer for this step, or do it by hand.
- Sweeten the Lemonade: In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Combine the Mixtures: Add the peach puree to the pitcher with the lemon mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice, pour the peach lemonade mixture over the ice, and top each glass with club soda or sparkling water. Give it a gentle stir to combine.
- Garnish: Add fresh mint leaves on top for a beautiful presentation.
Notes
