Description

This Ultimate Hot Fudge Brownie Cheesecake Pie combines creamy cheesecake cradled in a fudgy brownie crust, topped with luscious hot fudge. It’s the perfect indulgent dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pie dish, spreading it evenly.
  3. Bake the brownie crust for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let it cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until well combined. Add vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until creamy and fluffy.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie crust and spread it evenly. Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the top is slightly golden. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best results).
  6. In a double boiler or microwave, melt the chocolate chips with heavy cream and sugar. Stir until smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
  7. Once the cheesecake pie is chilled, drizzle the hot fudge over the top. Serve immediately or store in the fridge until serving.

Notes

For a lighter dessert, consider using fresh berries or a berry compote instead of hot fudge.
